Are Trump and Republicans in the U.S. Senate headed for conflict? Can divided government in Arizona get anything productive done?

I do an occasional podcast, called The Political Notebook, with my son Billy Robb, a high school teacher and author of the Cholla Express Substack.

In the most recent episode we discuss such things as: How likely is Trump to test constitutional norms and how sturdy are the guardrails protecting them? What might the changes in the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and recorder’s office mean to election administration and the defense of the integrity of outcomes? And to what extent will the 2026 election cast a shadow over state legislative deliberations?
